medallionBlessed Sacrament School opened its doors in 1986.

With the direction and dedication of two Dominican sisters, Sr. Barbara Stanek, O.P., and Sr. Sharon Carroll, O.P., Monsignor Robert Servatius, and the Blessed Sacrament Parish Community, Bessed Sacrament school began teaching Kindergarten and First Grade classes in the parish hall.  The following year, PreK and Second Grade classes were added.

Groundbreaking for the school was in June, 1987.  The educational center of 4 classrooms and a main office were dedicated in September, 1988.

In 1990, Phase II was completed. This provided PreK and Kindergarten classrooms in the main building.

Phase III began in 1991 and completed the main school with 10 classrooms. A grade was added each year until it reached capacity, with the first class graduating in 1994.

The final Phase IV was started in 1995. This included a gym, kitchen, Extended Day Care Center, and Library/Media Center. The addition was dedicated in April 1996.

In the fall of 1997, 4 classrooms were leased to begin St. John the Baptist School until their building was completed in Draper.

The Learning Resource Center was completed as an addition to the Library in January of 1999.

This addition aided in remedial, accelerated, and technology-oriented curriculum.

In 2009, our Center for Science and the Arts was completed.

This monumental accomplishment was made possible by the generosity of the Alsam Foundation.

We are grateful to Aileen and Sam Skaggs for sharing our vision and making this dream a reality for our students.

The E.L Wiegand Foundation of Reno awarded Blessed Sacrament School the additional funds needs to completely outfit the interior of this addition.

Eighth grade students have the opportunity to "shadow" high school students at both of the Catholic high schools in our area.  A majority of our eighth grade students regularly test into honors and advanced placement (AP) courses at both Juan Diego Catholic High School and Judge Memorial Catholic High School.

Graduates of Blessed Sacrament School are well prepared for the challenges they will encounter in high school.  This preparation helps prevent common feelings of being overwhelmed or intimidated by a new environment.  Our graduates are ready for their future experiences based upon the strong, value-centered foundation built at Blessed Sacrament School.
